Tannis DrysdaleTannis Drysdale has worked for and with regional economic development focused organizations including, the Northwestern Ontario Development Network, the Northwestern Ontario Chambers of Commerce, the Rainy River Future Development Corporation and the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association. Including leading consultation efforts for the Regional Economic Development Zone project west of Thunder Bay.

She has authored several policy papers that lead the Government of Ontario to implement economic policy such as, the Northern Ontario Grow Bonds program. She has been both on the administrative and a political side of municipal government. This experience along with her work for other levels of government has provided her with a broad based understanding of the challenges of facilitating development in Northern Ontario from many perspectives.

As an economic development practitioner, Tannis Drysdale Consulting has extensive hands on experience in the implementation of programs and strategies. The firms client lists include First Nations, Municipalities and Business Organizations.

During her term as President of the Northwestern Ontario Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) the organizations resolution success rate shot up to a 74% success rate. She has received both NOACC and the Fort Frances Chambers highest awards of merit and been named by Northern Ontario Business as a top Mover and Shaker in Northern Ontario. She is also the recipient of a Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Ms Drysdale currently serves as the Northern Vice President for the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party and has served as Campaign Manager on numerous campaigns at all levels of Government.
